Description1974 Business Committee Resolutions

Pott-74-1 - A Resolution requesting that the Citizen Band Potawatomi Tribe of Oklahoma be allowed to continue participation in the Tribal Government Development Program in Fiscal Year 1974.

Pott-74-2 - A Resolution appointing Pete Veitenheimer to fill the unexpired term as a member of the Board of Directors to the Central Tribes of the Shawnee area.

Pott-74-4 - A Resolution expressing the desires of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Tribe of Oklahoma to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Bureau of Indian Affairs to administer the FY-74 Home Improvement Program for the Citizen Band Potawatomi Tribe.

Pott-74-5 - A Resolution to accept the Tribal Community Health Representative Program proposal for FY-74 and to appoint Mr. Pete Veitenheimer as Contract Administrator.

CP-74-6 - A Resolution stating that the Business Committee of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Tribe of Oklahoma will meet every third Friday of each month until further notice.

Pott-74-7 - A Resolution requesting funding of $44,893.oo from the Bureau of Indian Affairs, through the Congressional Delegation, to continue the operation of this most vital Tribal Program for the members of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Tribe of Oklahoma.

Pott-74-8 - A Resolution removing Pete Veitenheimer from the Board of Directors of the Central Tribes of the Shawnee Area and appointing Paul Schmidlkofer to serve the balance of the term.

Pott-74-9 - A Resolution identifying and authorizing signatures for Public Law 86-121 Activities.

Pott-74-10 - A Resolution to accept the Tribal Community Health Representative Program Proposal for FY-74 and to appoint Beverly I. Hughes as Contract Administrator.

CP-74-13 - A Resolution by the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indian Tribe of Oklahoma in protest of the Bureau of Indian Affairs Employment Assistance Office negotiating a contract with The Boy Scouts of America in the amount of $115,000.00.

Pott-74-14 - A Resolution making known to all parties concerned that the Citizen Band Potawatomi Tribe does not concur in the signature of our former Chairman on the below mentioned documents.

Pott-74-15 - A Resolution requesting that lands conveyed to the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma pursuant to the Act of August 11, 1964 (78 Stat. 393) and the Act of September 13, 1960 (74 Stat. 903) by Quitclaim and subject to no restrictions because of Indian ownership be redesignated restricted lands and maintained in trust by the Department of Interior for the aforementioned Indian Tribe.

Pott-74-16 - A Resolution making known to all parties that the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma is desirous of constructing an office building to house the Bureau of Indian Affairs of the Shawnee Agency.

Pott-74-17 - A Resolution making known to all parties concerned that the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma believe they are partial owners of the approximately 1,380 acres presently used by and for St. Mary's College in Kansas.

Pott-74-18 - A Resolution permitting John Barrett to enter into negotiations and report such negotiations to the Citizen Band Potawatomi Business Committee for their consideration for income generating enterprises to be located on Tribal property.

Pott-74-20 - A Resolution requesting the Indian Technical Assistance Center to design preliminary drawings for the Potawatomi Tribal Office Building in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Pott-74-21 - A Resolution authorizing Mr. John A. Barrett to represent the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma in their pursuant of Industrial Development Financing.

Pott-74-22 - A Resolution concurring with Resolution C.T.S.A. No. 74-1 in support of Inter-Tribal Organizations to serve as the funding mechanism for programs under the office of Native American Programs of the Department of Health & Welfare.

Pott-74-23 - A Resolution stating that orgainizations requesting contracts, grants and othe programs be required to identify persons being serviced by their organization by signature approval of individuals being served and that organization presently funded be informed and that all funds being presently awarded to them be stopped until tribal entities be given opportunity to approve or disapprove the services.

Pott-74-24 - A Resolution requesting the Shawnee City Commission's support for HR 11890 and HR 9219 introduced by Honorable Tom Steed to place tribal lands in trust for the Citizens Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma.

Pott-74-25 - A Resolution requesting the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma to remove Pete Veitenheimer from the Board of the Absentee Shawnee Housing Authority.

Pott-74-26 - A Resolution requesting the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma appoint Jerry R. Fox to the Board of the Absentee Shawnee Housing authority.

Pott-74-27 - A Resolution authorizing the Citizen Band Potawatomi Tribe of Oklahoma to submit a FY-75 Tribal Government Development Program Proposal.

CP-74-28 - A Resolution requesting that certain Tribal funds be advanced to the Business Committee for Industrial and Commercial Development.

Pott-74-29 - A Resolution requesting that the Mutual Help Housing Project be continued and respectfully request the Oklahoma Congressional delegation in the House of Representatives to review the statistics on Indian Housing in a comprehensive manner and include in the companion House Bill funds and units for new housing.

Pott-74-30 - A Resolution expressing a desire to enter into contract negotiations with Mr. P.C. Shao for the establishment of a joint venture Brush and Bristle Manufacturing Plant to be located on Tribal property.

CP-74-31 - A Resolution requesting that the Bureau of Indian Affairs accounting service provide an annual audit for the Citizen Potawatomi Tribe.

Pott-74-32 - A Resolution to accept the Tribal Community Health Representatives Program Proposal for FY-75 and to appoint Beverly I. Hughes as Contract Administrator.
