Description1978 Business Committee Resolutions

Pott-78-1 - A Resolution of approval from the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma that the Tribe apply for a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for the purpose as specified below and for the amount allocated to the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Tribe under this act at this time.

Pott-78-2 - A Resolution for the letting of the bid for the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indian Community Development Center Building sponsored by Economic Development Administration to Wynn Construction Company.

Pott-78-3 - A Resolution authorizing the Citizen Band Potawatomi under PL 93-638 to receive a grant for the purpose of strengthening tribal government.

Pott-78-4 - A Resolution for the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma accept the transfer agreement offer by OEH, Project OK 76-725.

Pott-78-5 - A Resolution to contract the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma share of the Bureau of Indian Affairs extension funds for FY 78 in the amount of $6,261.45.

Pott-78-8 - A Resolution supporting the United Western Oklahoma Tribes position paper on Indian Water Rights in Oklahoma.

Pott-78-9 - A Resolution for the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma to contract funds for a Health Careers Opportunity Program from the Department of Health Education and Welfare Public Health Service under Titles VII or VIII of the Public Health Service Act.

Pott-78-10 - A Resolution expressing desire of the Business Committee of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma to contract funds for the Potawatomi Learning Center for a Day Care Center in Shawnee, Oklahoma from Health, Education and Welfare.

Pott-78-11 - A Resolution expressing desire of the Business Committee of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma to contract funds for the Potawatomi Learning Center for an After School Program in Shawnee, Oklahoma from Health, Education and Welfare.

Pott-78-12 - A Resolution expressing the desire of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma Business Committee to contract funds for a survey and evaluation of literacy and High School completion of adult Potawatomis in Shawnee Agency BIA Census Area from Health, Education, and Welfare Under Title IV Part C.

Pott-78-13 - A Resolution certifying that the Potawatomi History is accurate.

Pott-78-14 - A Resolution requesting a contract from the Bureau of Indian Affairs to provide training & technical assistance to upgrage management skills and to provide written management tools.

Pott-78-15 - A Resolution by the Business Committee of the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma to enter into a contract with CTSA (Central Tribes of the Shawnee Area) and the Office of Native American Programs as a delegate agency for the period July 1, 1978 - June 30, 1979.

Pott-78-16 - A Resolution requesting the designation of near Reservation Area for Bureau of Indian Affairs Social Services Programs including Genral Assistance for Tribal members of the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma.

Pott-78-17 - A Resolution by the Business Committee of the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma authorizing Paul E. Schmidlkofer, Tribal Chairman to sign the Consortum Agreement with CETA.

Pott-78-18 - A Resolution duly adopted by the Business Committee of the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma providing for Executive Direction to the Absentee-Shawnee Housing Authority requiring that Indian preference be applied for hiring contractors and sub-contractors in accordance with PL 93-638.

Pott-78-19 - A Resolution of the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma to participate in developing a tribal specific health plan under Public Law 94-437 Indian Health Services.

Pott-78-24 - A Resolution setting forth the manner in which funds authorized by Public Law 93-134.87 Stat. 466 will be distributed per capita to the membership of the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma.

Pott-78-27 - A Resolution requesting technical assistance monies under PL93-638 Commercial Enterprise-Industrial Development contracting in the amount of $5,000.00 to conduct a feasibility study on a public golf course located on tribal land in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Pott-78-28 - A Resolution advising the EDA that the foregoing Overall Economic Development Program be implemented as the approved plans of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma.

Pott-78-29 - A Resolution by the General Council of the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma requesting the draw-down of $19,863.39 of unclaimed claims monies from the 1971 per capita payment from the BIA Bureau of Indian Affairs Docket 96.

Pott-78-29a - A Resolution amending distribution plan for Docket 96, and further certifying to efforts made to locate those persons whose where-abouts were unknown.

Pott-78-30 - A Resolution by the General Council of the Citizen Band of Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma requesting that the twenty percent (20%) set-a-side from the per capita payment to Potawatomi tribe be drawn down and placed in a local financial institution which will be determined by bids on the highest interest rate.

Pott-78-32 - A Resolution adopted by the General Council of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma approving the administrative guidelines for the Prosthetic Devices, Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids Distribution Plan and the Educational Foundation Distribution Plan.
