Description1980 Business Committee Resolution

Pott-80-01 - A Resolution in which the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma commits full support to the proposed Golf Course Project.

Pott-80-02: A Resolution in which the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma commits full support to the proposed congoleum carpet facilities located near Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Pott-80-03: A Resolution in which the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma requests that the BIA, Shawnee Agency, utilize Commercial Enterprise Development monies to fund feasibility studies on an as needed basis to assist individual Tribal development.

Pott-80-05: A Resolution in which the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma wishes to make application to the Oklahoma City Area IHS for FY 1979 P.L. 93-638 Tribal Project implementation and technical assistance funds in the amount of $39,967.00 to be used for the Health Planning Program.

Pott-80-06: A Resolution in which the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma totally withdraws from the Central Tribes of the Shawnee Area, Inc. effective September 30, 1979.

Pott-80-08: A Resolution to request funding pursuant to HEW Administration for Native Americans funding for FY1980.

Pott-80-09: A Resolution in which the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma desires membership in the National Congress of American Indians designating a main delegate and alternate delegate as representatives of the Potawatomi Tribe pursuant to all matters of Tribal Interest.

Pott-80-10: A Resolution to acquire a direct loan of $1.3 million from the Bureau of Indian Affairs to be utilized as equity to finance the Wilburton Carpet Mill from Congoleum Corporation for the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma doing business as the Native American Manufacturing Association, Inc.

Pott-80-11: A Resolution approving the judgement funds for the use and distribution of the four (04) beneficiary groups at the rates set out on an historic population basis adjudged per capita payments.

Pott-80-11C: A signed and witnessed resolution from the governing body of the Tribe or Alaskan Village mush accompany this ballot.

Pott- 80-12: A Resolution accepting deliverables prepared for and in behalf of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma by Craig C. Throckmorton, Consultant, pursuant to BIA purchase order number 9B09-0100079.

Pott-80-13: A Resolution appointing Carter ""Jim" Tacker to the Shawnee-Absentee Housing Authority Board for the remaining unexpired term or Robert Bruno through September 18, 1980.

Pott-80-14: A Resolution to contract Housing Improvement Program funds under P.L. 93-638 for Fiscal Year 1980.

Pott-80-16: A Resolution to authorize the draw down of $30,000 from the interest accrued on the 20% set-a-side for the Scholarship Foundation.

Pott-80-17: A Resolution making certain assurances in connection with a preapplication for the Community Development Block Grant Program.

Pott-80-18: A Resolution approving John D. Schoemann or his agent is authorized to sign all instruments and to enter into such negotiations as may be necessary in the acquisition of Federal surplus property from the Oklahoma State Agency for Surplus Property.

Pott-80-19: A Resolution in which the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma propose to contract with the Bureau of Indian Affairs to provide Commercial Enterprise Development services to it's tribal members.

Pott-80-20: A Resolution opposing the State of Oklahoma's attempts to summarily assume jurisdiction over Indian Country within the State of Oklahoma.

Pott-80-21: A Resolution to up-date the Tribes' overall Economic Development Plan to be incorporated and utilized within that of the United Indian Tribes of Western Oklahoma and Kansas.

Pott-80-22: A Resolution to request funding pursuant to agricultural extension program services, from the Bureau of Indian Affairs for FY80.

Pott-80-23: A Resolution requesting that the Bureau of Indian Affairs award the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma a contract to provide youth work-learn services to the Tribe.

Pott-80-25: A Resolution to request funding pursuant to P.L. 93-638, Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, Part 273 contracts from the Bureau of Indian Affairs for FY '80.

Pott-80-26: A Resolution for the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma to enter into a contractual agreement with the Indian Health Service, Oklahoma City Area, to provide for P.L. 93-638 tribal project implementation and technical assistance funds to be used for the health planning program for Fiscal Year 1980.

Pott-80-27: A Resolution adopting a plan for the use of certain funds awarded by the Indian Claims Commission.

Pott-80-28: A Resolution for the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma to apply for eligibility in a pre-application pursuant to Title VI of the Older Americans Act for Fiscal Year 1980 and 1981.

Pott-80-29: A Resolution amending distribution plan for Docket 96, and further certifying to efforts made to locate those persons whose where-about were unknown.

Pott-80-30: A Resolution for the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma to enter into a contractual agreement with the Indian Health Service, Oklahoma City Area, to provide for P.L. 93-638 Indian Self-Determination funds to be used for the Community Health Representative Program for Fiscal Year 1981.

Pott-80-31: A Resolution in which the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma propose to contract with the Bureau of Indian Affairs to provide Commercial Enterprise Development Services to it's Tribal members.

Pott-80-32: A Resolution requesting that the Bureau of Indian Affairs award the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma a contract to provide Youth Work-Learn Services to the Tribe.

Pott-80-33: A Resolution to request funding pursuant to P.L. 93-638, Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, Part 272, Grants, from the Bureau of Indian Affairs for FY81

Pott-80-34: A Resolution to request funding pursuant to HEW Administration for Native Americans Funding for FY81.

Pott-80-35: A Resolution making certain designation and assurances for the Community Development Block Grant Program for Indian Tribes.

Pott-80-36: A Resolution to request funding pursuant to P.L. 93-638, Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, Part 273 contracts from the Bureau of Indian Affairs for FY '81.

Pott-80-39: A General Council Resolution authorizing the Citizen Band Potawatomi Business Committee to negotiate and employ, by contract, Steven L. Parker, and/or his Firm, to represent the Tribe as Legal Counsel.

Pott-80-40: A Resolution to withhold Business Committee and/or Tribal Council Minutes from the Bureau of Indian Affairs and to submit only resolutions to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for safekeeping. In accordance with the Constitution, resolutions are the only certified documents to be filed with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Minutes are not to be considered certified documents.

Pott-80-41: A Resolution prohibiting persons holding elective positions of the Tribe from concurrently holding any salaried position within the Tribe or any grant or contract operated by the Tribe.

Pott-80-42: A Resolution to contract Indian Action Team Program funds under P.L. 93-638 for Fiscal Year 1981.

Pott-80-43: A Resolution to contract Housing Improvement Program funds for Fiscal Year 1981.

Pott-80-44: A Resolution to authorize the drawdown of $15,000 from the interest accrued on the 20% set-aside for the Scholarship Foundation.

Pott-80-45: A Resolution resolving that the Potawatomi Tribe of Oklahoma reaffirms the long and loving relationship between the Benedictine Fathers of Sacred Heart and St. Gregory's Abby, recognizing our common history and the services the order provided our forefathers. It is the sincere wish of the Potawatomi people that this relationship be recognized and continued as a source of education and kinship for the years to come.
