Description1983 Business Committee Resolutions

Pott-83-1: A Resolution to request funding to operate a Golf Course Maintenance Program.

Pott-83-2: A Resolution to allow drilling upon Tribal Land(s) by Baker Street, Inc. for specified and approved purposes at the discretion of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Business Committee.

Pott-83-3: A Resolutions to request that the Indian Health Service, Oklahoma City Area Office, enter into a contractual agreement with the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma to administer and manage equity health care funds allocated to the Shawnee Service Area for Fiscal Year 1982 as authorized by this resolution and by Tribal Resolutions from the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, and Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, The Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma, and the Sac and Fox Tribe of Oklahoma.

Pott-83-4: A Resolution authoring John Schoemann, Tribal Administrator, to represent the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma in the Annual Stockholders Meeting.

Pott-83-5: A Resolution to contract housing improvement program funds under P.L. 93-638 for Fiscal Year 1983.

Pott-83-6: A Resolution authorizing an Emergency drawdown of $20,000.00 from the interest accrued on the 20% set-aside for the Health Aids and Prosthetic Program and the Scholarship Program.

Pott-83-7: A Resolution to contract the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children under Public Law 95-627 for Fiscal Year 1983.

Pott-83-11: A Resolution approving a long-term business lease between the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma and Enterprise Management Consultants, Inc., 231 South Peters, Norman, Oklahoma 73069 on a ten (10) acre tract of Tribal trust land located in Section 31, Township 10 North, Range 4 East, Pottawatomie Countyn Oklahoma.

Pott-83-12: A Resolution licensing, permitting, and regulating the play of Bingo on Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma Trust lands under certain terms and conditions.

Pott-83-13: A Resolution establishing that regular meetings of the Business Committee shall be held on the fourth (4th) Monday in February, May, August, and November of each calendar year.

Pott-83-14: A Resolution duly adopted by the Business Committee of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma requesting that the United States Congress appropriate special add-on funds in the amount of $120,000.00 for the Bureau of Indian Affairs' Fiscal Year 1983 Roads Construction Program for the purpose of providing funds to help construct a new four-lane road on Highway No. 18 (currently two-lane) between Tecumseh and Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Pott-83-15: A Resolution to authorize the draw down of $35,000.00 from the interest accrued on the 20% set-aside funds for the Prosthetics Foundation.

Pott-83-16: A Resolution to authorize the drawdown of $35,000.00 from the interest accrued on the 20% set-aside for the Scholarship Program.
