DescriptionBow made from Bois d'Arc wood (Loan Agreement reads "heart of Bois d'Arc") by Thomas Melot in the 1930s. It appears to be made of two pieces of wood with a strip of what appears to be grip tape with a faux dark leather appearance. The inside of the grip (rounded portion) is a separate piece. There is no bowstring. The adhesive has bled out around the grip. The grip has tears and scratches throughout. There is yellow paint on one side. The limb has scratches and various paint flecks throughout (white, blue, and yellow).
