DescriptionPartial inventory (item went on display before KLL could do full inventory)- M1 Garand rifle with M5 bayonet used by Richard Vincent Johnson during his 11 year and 3 month career in the United States Army. Johnson retired as a 1st Lieutenant. He was awarded 7 Bronze Stars and 3 Purple Hearts. Yellow "G" painted on the butt of the gun.

M1 Garand is a .30-06 caliber semi-automatic rifle that was the standard U.S. service rifle during World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam.
