Finding AidJournal written by Joseph N. Bourassa in the 1860s. The cover is cardboard with a multicolor design. The spine has black cloth, but the back and front covers are held together with what appears to be athletic tape. The pages are not attached to the spine anymore. A number of the pages are loose from the bulk of the pages which are bound together by string. The text is handwritten with various inks. The handwriting changes throughout. The front portion of the journal is an index (on non-numbered pages). The rest of the journal is on written pages. Pages 213-226 are missing. The journal is a medical journal with ailments and prescriptions. There are also some recipes.
