First National Bank has never looked back rather is always looking to what it could be and could have in the future. The bank is working on a digital platform that can be accessed from anywhere. A Tribal Outreach program is being implemented to offer financial education, business development assistance and answer financial questions in an effort to earn tribal member business. Despite the challenges of CoVid and a hostile interest rate environment, FNB is in a strong position with a 128% increase in total assets over 2020 and a 120% increase in deposits over the same time period. As a precautionary, protective measure the bank placed $2million in loan loss reserve to offset any potential downturns. Mr. Cain further stated that with the acquisition of First State Bank of Oklahoma City, First National Bank is now the largest tribally owned bank in the nation and thanked the executive branch, legislators, Community Development Corporation, accounting department and attorneys of the Tribe for their foresight, efforts and support to make the acquisition possible. The success for First National Bank and Trust is a tribute to the vision of 1989. Julie Floyd, marshal of the CPN Election Committee, was introduced to announce the results of the election.
