Carter U.S. Indian Agent, San and Fox Agency, I.T. from the Citizen Band of Pottawatomi’s in reference to the Indian agent allowing white husbands to be enrolled into tribe and signed by group of 11 men which Shipshewano was one. 3 pgs.
