TRANSCRIPTION: Citizen Potawatomi Nation Ordinance #10-R&G-10-01-T24 AN ORDINANCE NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE CITIZEN POTAWATOMI NATION that the following Codes be adopted: the 2009 International Building Code be adopted as the Citizen Potawatomi Building Code, the 2009 International Existing Building Code be adopted as the Citizen Potawatomi Existing Building Code, the 2009 International Property Maintenance Code be adopted as the Citizen Potawatomi Property Maintenance Code, the 2009 International Plumbing Code as the Citizen Potawatomi Plumbing Code, the 2009 International Mechanical Code as the Citizen Potawatomi Mechanical Code, the 2009 International Fire Code be adopted as the Citizen Potawatomi Fire Code, the 2009 International Private Sewage Code be adopted as the Citizen Potawatomi Private Sewage Code. NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE CITIZEN POTAWATOMI NATION that the Chairman of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation is hereby authorized to grant a written waiver of said building codes based on the recommendation of a licensed architect for specific projects when said waiver is in the best interest of the Nation and said waiver will not impose a risk to the health, safety, or welfare of tribal citizens, employees or guests. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE CITIZEN POTAWATOMI NATION that the above amendments be made to Title 24, Building Codes, of the Citizen Potawatomi Tribal Code and ARE HEREBY APPROVED. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall become effective upon adoption by the Legislature of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. CERTIFICATION In his capacity as Secretary-Treasurer of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, the undersigned hereby certifies that the above and foregoing ordinance is a true and correct copy of Ordinance #10-01-R&G-10-01-T24, as approved on the 30th of September, 2009, with 14 voting for, 0 opposed and 2 absent or abstaining.
